THE HUNT

The day starts early in the morning. After a delicious breakfast is time to go hunting.

We generally use four-wheel drive vehicles to access the designated areas before daylight.

From a strategic point we glass until a nice trophy is located and the stalk begins.

By mid-morning most of the bulls climb the hills going to their bedding and it ́s time to go back to the lodge where appetizers and lunch are served.

After a couple of hours of resting the hunt continues until sunset, when it ́s time to head back to the lodge to relax and have a gourmet dinner.

THE LODGE

The 33.000 acres ranch is located in the foothills of the Andes mountain range, bordering the spectacular Lanin National Park. This is one of the prettiest parks in Patagonia, named after the massive mount Lanin, an extinguished volcano that dominates the scene. Although remote and secluded, the property can be easily reached from San Martin de los Andes commercial airport, 45 miles south from the ranch.

All meals are homemade and expertly prepared. You will be presented with multi-course menu options of international cuisine prepared with an Argentinian flair using only the finest in freshly grown local products. A wide selection of beverages including premium wines and liquors are available for your enjoyment. The beautiful park faces the Alumine river, very famous for the quality of the trout fishing.

Camouflage clothing: A hat, comfortable boots, binoculars, range finder.

Depending on the time of the year you may need a warm jacket or light clothing.

Rolling hills and woods that alternate with open patches. Some areas are bushy with thorns.

Yes you can. You must contact the closest Argentinian Consulate and apply for a temporary gun introduction permit. Once you arrive to Buenos Aires the Airport Police and Customs will check your permit and the gun. If you prefer to avoid this, you can rent one of our guns.

We have fine guns in different calibers, 270, 30-06, 300 WM and 375 H&H, all with quality scopes.

Once you arrive to Buenos Aires International airport (EZE) our representative will drive you to Jorge Newbery airport (AEP) to board a flight to San Luis (LUQ). Once you land, another member of our team will take you to the lodge at 45 miles of distance.

The lodge is very comfortable, with a nice swimming pool, a massage room and a sauna. Observers can participate of most of the hunt, except for the final stalking. However, this part of the province doesn’t offer anything of interest for touring.
