THE HUNT

Early in the morning, after a full breakfast, we will drive to the day’s designated hunting spot, which is within 15 to 45 minutes from the lodge. Before sunrise, your guide will set up the decoys, and you will be positioned in a double blind. As soon as the first light appears, the action will begin. Once you’ve reached your morning bag limit, we’ll return you to the lodge where a snack and a gourmet lunch will be waiting.

After lunch and a brief rest, we will head to a different marsh for another thrilling duck hunt. Alternatively, in the afternoon, you can opt for partridge hunting with our exceptional pointer dogs. The evening concludes with drinks by the fireplace and another wonderful meal.

THE LODGE

The beautiful estancia is strategically located in the heart of Argentina’s premier duck hunting area, just a four-hour drive from Buenos Aires Ezeiza International Airport. For added convenience, charter flights can also land in the nearby town.

The modern and comfortable house, elegantly decorated with fine European furniture, can accommodate up to eight guests. The lodge features multiple cocktail areas, two fireplace lounges, a trophy room, a playroom, Wi-Fi, and Satellite TV. Guests will delight in multi-course menu options of international cuisine with an Argentinian twist, prepared using only the finest locally grown products. A wide selection of premium wines and liquors is available for your enjoyment.

In terms of number of birds the whole season is very steady. We have a pretty good number of resident birds and different species of ducks migrate at a different time so there is always new ducks arriving. For a collector the later in the season, the better chances to shoot more species.

Partially cloudy with occasional rains. Normally the temperatures range between 30 °F early in the morning up to 70 °F in the afternoon.

A warm jacket for the morning, a beanie, gloves or hand warmers, walking boots and a flashlight. We provide waders and rubber boots in sizes 9 to 13.

Flat land with many ponds and little marshes. This is a very important agricultural area that offers to the ducks an unlimited resource of food and roosting.

Yes, most of our blinds are built on the shore and we can drive right to them, so there is no need to walk in the water.

Yes you can. You must contact the closest Argentinian Consulate and apply for a temporary gun introduction permit. Once you arrive to Buenos Aires the Airport Police and Customs will check your permit and the gun.

By land, the distance from Buenos Aires international airport (EZE) to the ranch is 250 miles, all paved road. There is an airport near the ranch that can receive medium size twin engine charter planes.

The lodge is very comfortable, with WiFi and satellite TV but the region doesn’t offer any interesting points for touring. There is some shopping at the nearby city of Pehuajo.

We only hunt every blind once a week, so we have lots of them spread all over the area. The shorter drive can take 5 minutes and the longest 45 minutes.
